Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Generalist to join their team onsite in Providence, RI. This W2 contract is set to last through at least the end of the year, with further work anticipated in 2026. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and must live within commutable distance of Providence, RI.
The HR Generalist will be a key contributor to the US operations, responsible for managing day-to-day HR tasks while also understanding and supporting the broader strategic goals of the organization. This role requires a proactive and empathetic individual with excellent communication skills to handle a variety of employee-focused matters. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who is comfortable with both administrative duties and more complex interpersonal situations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding social safety issues, providing support, addressing concerns, and ensuring proper follow-up.
- Offer guidance on conflict resolution and behavioral management to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Job offer management and onboarding support.
- Facilitate internal transfers and promotions and provide support for internal mobility programs.
- Administer the performance management process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback is provided.
- Handle day-to-day HR tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records, managing HR data, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Human Resources position.
