This includes staff relations, HR compliance, employment practices, staff programs, benefits administration, Human Capital Management (HCM) system, and compensation support. Ensures effective Human Resources service delivery and provides coaching and support to leaders and staff to improve performance and resolve workplace concerns. Works in close partnership with the Sr. Labor Relations Specialist and the Leadership & Development Programs Manager.

In this position you will
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with leaders to cultivate a culture that reflects the Core Values and Service Commitments of the organization and to ensure Human Resource policies, processes, and practices are effectively implemented.
- Partner with leaders on organizational design and workforce planning, including creating and revising job descriptions.
- Advise and counsel leaders, staff, and direct reports regarding Neighborcare policy and procedures interpretation and Federal, State, and local employment laws to ensure consistency in policy application, decision making, and administration of staff programs and practices.
- Manage staff relations issues and provide expertise, counseling, and support to leaders regarding performance management and corrective action. Work in close coordination with the Sr. Labor Relations Specialist who leads this work for union represented staff.
- Provide oversight of outsourced leave of absence administration, personal leaves of absence, requests for accommodation, and L&I; ensuring consistency and compliance.
- In partnership with the Leadership and Development Programs Manager, review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve team member engagement, performance, and retention.
- Oversee record keeping process to ensure accurate records are maintained, including personnel files, records of benefits plans participation, and the processing of promotions, transfers, salary changes, supervisor changes, and terminations.
- Leads bi-weekly HR/Payroll Team meeting, ensuring open and clear communication between teams and timely and accurate completion of HCM updates.
- Provide leadership in ongoing effort to document and improve HR processes.
- In partnership with the Sr Director Human Resources, build and maintain internal HR policies, procedures, and staff handbook.
- Manage and develop small HR Operations team consisting of HR Generalist(s), HR Coordinator, and Compensation and Benefits Administrator.
- Stay informed and educate the Human Resources team on new and existing employment laws, regulations and best practices. Plan and implement changes to ensure compliance with all existing governmental and labor reporting requirements.
- Provide leadership and support for new projects, system implementations, and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned within job qualifications.

- Deep understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
Required Qualifications for this job
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience.
- Minimum five (5) years’ progressively responsible experience in Human Resources
- Minimum three (3) years’ supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications for this job
- Experience in Healthcare preferred
- Experience administering compensation and benefits programs preferred

Compensation
The wage range for this position is a Minimum $41.17/hour up to $57.69/hour Maximum.
Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
