Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Silver Birch Living is growing — and we’re adding an HR Generalist to our team! This role will play a key part in supporting 600+ team members as they provide high-quality care and services to our residents. This position is based in our Chicago Loop office.

What You’ll Do

• Support recruiting and manage the Applicant Tracking System
• Oversee and support the Scheduling tool
• Coordinate onboarding and complete the new hire process
• Prepare HR reports and verify compliance requirements
• Train new managers and staff on HR software
• Administer Leaves of Absence and Workers’ Compensation claims
• Support HR initiatives and projects across the organization
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of HR experience (multi-site support required)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Senior living or healthcare experience (preferred)
• HRCI or SHRM certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of state/federal employment laws
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• HRIS experience (Paycor preferred) + Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to travel less than 25% (including occasional overnight travel)
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
