Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant
Location: Lakewood, CO
Pay: $20–$26 per hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Type: Contract (2–3 months, potential to extend)
Work Setting: 100% in-office

Addison Group is working with a reputable organization in the Lakewood area seeking an experienced and dependable HR Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured office environment and enjoys process-driven work supporting onboarding and compliance.
Job Description:
The HR Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing high-volume onboarding efforts and maintaining accurate employee records. This is a contract opportunity offering hands-on experience in HR operations, specifically in compliance and documentation, with a strong focus on new hire onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate onboarding for groups of 20–30 new hires, including compliance-related documentation
- Coordinate background checks, physicals, DOT applications, and I-9 verifications
- Audit existing I-9 records for accuracy and completeness
- Scan and file personnel documents into the appropriate digital systems
- Support general HR administrative functions as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year HR or administrative support experience
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation and data entry
- Familiarity with onboarding processes and compliance tasks (I-9, background checks, etc.)
