Responsibilities

• Support HRIS and payroll functions, including new hire setup, compensation changes, deductions, and benefits updates.
• Administer benefits, including enrollment, changes, terminations, and vendor communications; assist with open enrollment and benefits communications.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws (EEO, VETS, FMLA, etc.) and internal policies.
• Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and data within UKG Ready or other HR systems.
• Administer and track the company’s FMLA program.
• Review benefit invoices; resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Conduct new hire onboarding, reference checks, and orientation.
• Posting job advertisements on various platforms and job boards.
• Screening incoming resumes and coordinating interview schedules.
• Managing candidate communications.
• Supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Participate in the Health & Wellness Committee and lead or support special HR projects as assigned.
• Ensure HR practices support a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of generalist experience in a similar work environment.
• Previous recruitment experience preferred, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding support.
• UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) system experience is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
