Position Summary

We have a cornerstone and highly visible opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Director; in this role, you will oversee HR operations for two hospitals in the Inland Empire: St. Bernardine Medical Center and Community Hospital of San Bernardino.

Responsibilities

As a strategic leader, you will align business objectives with employees and management, serving as an evidence-based consultant to executive leadership on HR-related issues including employee health, relations, labor relations, performance management, training, policy application, organizational development, workforce planning, ADA interactive process, and compensation. You will direct the HR team and collaborate across HR functions to deliver value-added service aligned with our organizational goals.

Our ideal candidate will have healthcare experience, knowledge of human resources, experience working with union relationships, and a commitment to our mission of caring for underserved communities. You will act as a development coach to operations leaders and oversee employee engagement and workforce culture strategies to enhance our workplace environment.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 7 years of HR or leadership experience, or 10+ years HR experience, or Master’s Degree with relevant experience
  • Experience in generalist HR roles or at least two HR specialties such as compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, or talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated employee relations experience with knowledge of recruitment, training, benefits, and compensation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP

Pay Range

$56.83 - $82.40 per hour
