Responsibilities

  • The HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle and enhancing the employee experience across our Southeast regional offices.
  • Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, serve as a hands-on HR practitioner and a strategic partner to local leadership.
  • Deliver responsive, compliant, and business-aligned HR support across our Florida locations, ensuring consistency in policies while adapting to local workforce needs.
  • Support regional operations in talent acquisition and onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws throughout the Southeast region.
  • Collaborate to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workforce continuity in alignment with local business objectives and the HR strategy.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or generalist role.
  • Knowledge of HR methods and practices, knowledge and ability to interpret and apply state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law (preferred).
  • Software skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office including advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe. Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the company’s HRIS system (ADP) and Applicant Tracking System.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, coaching, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks; attention to detail; integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00
