Job Summary
The Barista is responsible for making and selling coffee, other drinks, and food items to Members and their guests.
Day-to-Day
- Educates Members by presenting the menu and answering questions.
- Sells coffees by explaining differences in coffee beans, coffee preparation machines, and demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
- Maintains inventories by replenishing and restocking coffee bean supply, brewing equipment, supplies, pastries, and cookies for the coffee bar.
- Keeps equipment operable by following operating instructions, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive maintenance or repairs.
- Improves the appearance of the store and coffee bar to drive up sales.
About You
- Six months experience as a barista.
- Excellent communication skills and articulate speech. Ability to follow instructions well.
- Passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence to provide the highest quality Member and guest experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
