Job Description

• Greet guests promptly and courteously; explain available items in detail.
• Record guest orders accurately, repeating back to confirm.
• Input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system swiftly and accurately to notify the kitchen/bar.
• Note and communicate any dietary restrictions or allergies to culinary staff.
• Prepare beverage orders with precision.
• Serve guests using proper utensils, requiring manual dexterity.
• Assist with collecting and organizing food orders from the kitchen.
• Ensure order forms are prepared daily for the next day and delivered to the appropriate departments.
• Process payments via cash, credit card, or charge for all orders.
• Balance tip slips, run financial and cashier reports, and prepare end-of-day revenue reports.
• Check and maintain station cleanliness and setup before, during, and after shifts.
• Sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and frequently touched items periodically.
• Perform side duties such as restocking condiments, utensils, retail items, and beverages.

• Manage requisitions and supplies from the storeroom as needed.
• Assist with monthly inventory of retail items, liquor, and beverages.
• Be familiar with hotel layout and outlet hours of operation.
• Perform cleaning tasks related to the outlet.

Qualifications

• Any education providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Preferred: Minimum one year of experience as a barista.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner; work well in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Obtain relevant certifications such as food handler’s or alcohol training.
• Work environment may be humid or hot.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible in performing all duties required.
