Barista role at Summer Moon Coffee. Part-time and full-time positions are available. Located in Fort Worth, TX.

Prepares and serves specialty hot and cold beverages as well as pastries/food items to customers according to Summer Moon standards.
Provides quality customer service by being informative about our products to help customers have a good experience every time.
Takes orders and processes payments by cash and card, using a POS system.
Restocks condiment counters and maintains customer areas by sweeping floors and sanitizing tables.
Maintains clean and organized working areas (restocking, wiping surfaces, dishes, etc.).
Completes checklists for each shift.
Receives inventory from suppliers, restocks, and puts away orders.
Sweeps and mops floors as part of routine cleaning.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use a stepladder to reach high areas, up to 6 ft.
Ability to follow safe food and beverage handling procedures to comply with health department requirements.
Ability to memorize a large number of drink recipes and work at a fast pace to serve customers quickly.

Prolonged periods of standing and working on cash registers, brewing equipment, and performing cleaning tasks.
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
Ability to operate espresso machines and brewing-related equipment safely and effectively.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have open availability to work early mornings and evenings on weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
