We are hiring Baristas to join our team and provide world-class service to guests from all over the world. As part of the HMSHost family, you'll have the opportunity to be part of an exciting environment. The Barista creates a great experience by providing quality beverages and products, quick service, and ensuring a fun and memorable experience for our guests.
What You Will Do
- Greet all guests with a smile, take food and drink orders, answer questions, call guests by name, and thank them for their order.
- Provide and prepare quality beverages and food products consistently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards while delivering legendary service.
- Remain calm during high volume periods to keep the store operating smoothly and set a positive example for the team.
- Operate a cash register, receive payments, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies.
- Keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and decorate customer display areas.
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to uphold the culture, values, and mission of the brand and HMSHost, following all operational policies, including safety and security.
Skills You Will Need
- Strong social skills and a love for meeting new people.
- The ability to stay calm and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to learn new skills quickly.
- The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, policies, and rules, and to seek assistance when needed.
- Basic math skills for accurately counting money and making change.
- Ability to work well with others to create a cooperative team environment.
