Overview
Baristas perform various duties and provide customer service, including taking orders, making drinks, and operating cash registers and credit card machines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain composure during busy periods to ensure standards and a positive team environment.
- Evaluate customer and store needs to anticipate service requirements.
- Communicate effectively with management to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Assist in training new partners and provide respectful coaching.
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a customer-first attitude.
- Follow operational policies for safety, cash handling, and security.
- Keep workspace clean and organized.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Prepare and serve quality beverages and food, adhering to standards.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
No previous experience required.
Physical requirements: Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting up to 40 pounds; standing during shifts; reaching and performing detailed work.
General requirements include maintaining a friendly demeanor, effective communication, multitasking, attending trainings, maintaining appearance standards, and performing other duties as assigned.
