Summary

Role: Barista — Little Rock Marriott. Location: Downtown Little Rock, AR. You will work in a vibrant coffee shop environment, delivering high-quality beverages and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and more
• Engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences
• Create latte art and ensure each drink is attractively presented
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including coffee machines and equipment
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of products
• Upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with various coffee beans and blends helpful
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
• Prior cash handling experience
