What You'll Do at Mr. West:
- Craft Exceptional Coffee: Create top-quality espresso beverages using your technical skill and passion for great coffee.
- Deliver Memorable Service: Provide warm, attentive service—whether you're behind the bar, at the register, or working the floor.
- Be a Menu Expert: Know the ins and outs of our offerings—from coffee and cocktails to food and wine—so you can confidently guide guests.
- Maintain High Standards: Uphold cleanliness, safety, and quality protocols across all areas of service.
- Stay Adaptable: Jump in where needed—whether as a barista or server—and support your team to keep things running smoothly.
- Engage with Guests: Connect with customers, anticipate their needs, and make each visit feel personal and enjoyable.
- Support a Strong Team Culture: Collaborate with coworkers to create a positive, fast-paced, and organized environment every shift.
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced Barista: You have 2+ years behind the bar crafting specialty coffee in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Café + Service Savvy: Familiar with high-volume café operations and comfortable with both counter service and dining room flow.
- Service Standards Pro: You understand (or are eager to learn) the ins and outs of quality hospitality—from timing to table settings.
- Certified + Ready: Valid Food Handler and MAST permits in hand (or willing to obtain).
- Team-Oriented: You thrive working both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
- Flexible Schedule: Open to working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Great Communicator: Clear, respectful, and friendly communication with both guests and team members is a must.
