The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining product freshness, stock, accuracy, and presentation. They lead food services including replenishment, inventory, safety, and promotional signage.
The role of a Starbucks Barista offers skills and experiences such as:
- Providing a consistent Starbucks experience with food quality and freshness management
- Adhering to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
Typical Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience with a focus on guest needs
- Maintain Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management
- Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines for consistency and safety
- Support Drive Up and digital order fulfillment
- Maintain an inviting dining environment
- Engage with guests to exceed expectations
- Prepare handcrafted beverages and food according to recipes
- Follow food safety protocols, including temperature monitoring
- Complete cleaning tasks and monitor for damaged or expired items
- Manage inventory and stock levels accurately
- Participate in training and certifications
- Work safely and report hazards
- Support guest services like back-up cashier and order pickup
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and assist guests as needed
