Caf- Barista Job at Guido's Fresh Marketplace in Great Barrington

Overview

Guido's Fresh Marketplace is a family-owned grocery and specialty market with two locations in the Berkshires. We are looking to hire a dedicated, detail-oriented team of coffee and smoothie enthusiasts to assist in the launch of this exciting new addition to the South County cafe scene. Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to take orders and assist them with the cafe menu options
• Make coffee, tea, smoothie, and juice drinks
• Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated; maintain back stock areas and coolers
• Maintain smoothie/juice bar ingredients, coffee beans, and milk/creamer supply
• Prepare and wash fruits and vegetables used for smoothies/juices
• Wash dishes and utensils when necessary
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices; operate and sanitize all equipment safely

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Effective time management and multitasking skills
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Comfortable working closely with a team
• Ability to be upright and moving for long periods and to lower oneself to grasp objects
• Prior experience in a customer service role; prior barista experience is helpful
