All About Food & Beverage
The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

Responsibilities
- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks’ food quality and freshness management
- State and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product
- Be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks
- Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Follow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive items
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space as outlined in best practices
- Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practice
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices
- Follow perishable inventory procedures to ensure accurate inventory records
- Execute sampling best practices
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve guest issues
- Complete required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report hazards
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while complying with laws
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks
- Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- All other duties based on business needs
Qualifications & What We Are Looking For
- You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members
- You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role with teamwork and problem solving
- You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times)
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience is preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Calm, focused performance in a fast-paced environment and ability to accomplish multiple tasks within timeframes
