Peet's Coffee is currently seeking passionate Baristas for the Cole location. For over 50 years, our goal has been to offer the best coffees and teas in the world, without compromise. The Barista role at Peet's Coffee emphasizes mastery, quality, and service while engaging with customers and supporting daily cafe operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes customers to the store, engaging with them throughout their store experience.
- Determines customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge.
- Demonstrates that customers come first by serving them with a sense of urgency.
- Provides consistent quality in the preparation of drinks and brewing of coffee and tea.
- Participates actively in training to learn new and promotional products; continually expands knowledge of coffee and tea.
- Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
Qualifications
- Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service with a customer-first mentality.
- Exhibit a strong focus on quality with an interest in learning more about coffee.
- Be extremely reliable and punctual.
- Enjoy working in a team environment and building great relationships with coworkers.
- Be able to work quickly, embrace and learn new information, multi-task and incorporate feedback into personal performance.
- Be able to perform various physical tasks during the work shift.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay between $14.50 to $20.00 plus $3.00 $6.00 per hour cash and electronic tips. Pay ranges are determined based on geography (State/Local regulations and market conditions).
- Active pursuit of Barista certification by completing required trainings and certifications within 90 days of start date.
