Barista - Part-Time Job at Creative Dining in New Albany

Creative Dining Services is looking for a part-time Barista at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, IN.The Barista maintains operations at the coffee shop while maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a quality experience for both our customers and team members. The Barista is responsible for customer service, product knowledge and education, and encouraging safe work practices.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
• Provides service to the customers in a positive, friendly, helpful manner.
• Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
• Runs a register, other devices and credit card machine accurately, following all cash handling procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail or six months of specialty coffee experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
