Summary
The Lead Barista will guide and influence, while modeling the store operations standards that define our Customer Experience. Leading each shift, the role will collaborate with a team of baristas to provide quality customer service and crafted products. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional service and developing expertise in the creation of our products. Within the store environment, this role offers the opportunity to enhance skills in food and beverage preparation. Our Lead baristas play a key role in enhancing each customer's experience. In compliance with store operating policies and standards, this role is responsible for providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
- Identifies areas of risk/problems advises food service leadership. Works on resolution while keeping leadership informed
- Perform daily audits encompassing customer service, labeling, dating, waste, and temperature
- Ongoing and initial training of staff to ensure compliance capabilities
- In the absence of the team leader, oversee daily production operations and manage team effectively.
- At least 1 year customer service Required
- Less than 1 year leadership experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Manager Food Handler Certification 30 Days Required
