Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field ~7+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, or enterprise reporting in a large corporate environment (financial services preferred) ~ Mastery-level expertise in business analytics, dashboard development, and tools like Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy ~ Strong SQL and data modeling skills; ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive reporting solutions ~ capable of presenting to executives and facilitating business use case discussions ~ Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics projects and deliver high-impact insights independently ~ Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and using tools like Jira ~ Ability to document technical/business requirements, process flows, and test plans ~ Experience mentoring analytics staff and coordinating with offshore teams ~ Familiarity with enterprise transformation initiatives ~5+ years of hands-on BI development using MicroStrategy, Power BI, or Tableau ~ Strong SQL and data analysis skills; experience in data modeling, semantic layer design, and financial data insights ~ Understanding of financial accounting systems, principles, and reporting processes ~ Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments ~ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling abilities ~ able to translate complex data into meaningful insights ~ Familiarity with platforms like Clarity PPM, Workday, and financial/resource management systems ~ Exposure to insurance and financial services products and business processes (e.g., underwriting, new business) preferred ~ Demonstrated leadership in business analysis, including requirement documentation, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement ~ Prior experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
