JOB SUMMARY
We're searching for an ERP Business Analyst to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for our new ERP system implementation. This person will analyze existing processes, gather requirements from stakeholders, and design/implement ERP solutions that align with organizational goals and support long-term strategic objectives.
- Requirements Gathering & Design: Understand business needs, gather and prioritize requirements, and document functional designs for ERP implementation.
- System Configuration: Customize ERP settings to align with AGSE’s operational needs.
- Testing & Validation: Ensure ERP functionality meets business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve system issues related to performance and user experience.
- Training & Support: Educate and assist users in effective ERP system usage.
- Process Optimization: Analyze workflows and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Data Migration: Support transition from legacy systems to ERP.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across business, technical, and project teams to ensure successful ERP integration.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related fields.
- 5 years of related EPICOR experience required.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and how ERP systems can support them.
- ERP System Knowledge: Thorough understanding of specific ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365). EPICOR experience preferred.
- Business Process and Functional Requirements:
- Ability to understand and analyze various business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrated expertise in translating business needs into functional specifications for the ERP system.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify problems, and propose solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems, data modeling, and related technologies.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with database management, system administration, and other technical aspects of ERP systems.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to oversee project tasks and ensures the ERP implementation by preparing project plans, oversees implementation, and maintenance within budget and lead-times.
