Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a contract to hire basis 100% remote. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood and articulated. This role requires a strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Build collaborative relationships with business and IT teams to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Facilitate the requirements discovery process and document business needs concisely for diverse audiences.
• Develop and maintain artifacts such as user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
• Collaborate with project teams to validate requirements through reviews and walkthroughs.
• Ensure the timely delivery of business requirements and artifacts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in creating and executing User Acceptance Testing plans to confirm solutions meet business needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and create future-state process models using standard tools.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders to assess customer satisfaction and clarify project requirements.
• Utilize techniques like process flow modeling and data mapping to support design, development, and QA processes.
• Provide leadership and expertise to ensure the successful implementation of solutions aligned with business expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.• 3-5 years of experience in business or systems analysis.
• Proficiency in working within structured methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and organizational skills to drive project success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to document requirements using various elicitation methods.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques like process flow modeling and functional decomposition.
• Experience developing artifacts such as user stories, business cases, and data mapping documents.
