Job Description:
The Food Service On Premise (FSOP) Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of actions and strategies that will improve the profitability of the Food Service On Premise (FSOP) channel, while collecting data, organizing information, making forecasts and projections to make recommendations where needed. This guide will provide the PPM a detailed breakdown on actionable steps to make profitable decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of Food Service On Premise (FSOP) pricing guidelines to help our sales teams understand Food Service On Premise (FSOP) profitability strategy.
- Gather data from internal databases to identify opportunities to determine adequate timely solutions.
- Support Food Service On Premise (FSOP) Planning and Performance Manager (PPM) and team routines with required and any ad hoc analysis and reporting as necessitated.
- Partner with Food Service On Premise (FSOP) teams and sales teams to develop plans and programs to drive achievement of profitable growth.
- Provide forward-looking forecast evaluation and performance analysis (hurdle identification, plan gaps, etc).
- Utilize a collaborative approach to maintain current and accurate information for all master data mapping across systems and as anomalies are identified, will see updates through to completion.
- Proactively analyze system data and usage of Food Service On Premise (FSOP) reports recommended changes take place and communicating adjustments as needed.
- Assist in validating new automated reporting system requirements and data alignment.
Position Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years strong analytics, system data mining, deep-dive analysis, and project management experience.
- Knowledge of specific information system capabilities, strategies, technical terminology, and interdependencies to perform deep dive data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical and mathematical/computer programs and modeling techniques.
- Must be able to generate innovative ideas and solutions to address problems.
- Demonstrated ability to present data to drive decision making.
- Ability to apply and analyze large amounts of data for inconsistencies, patterns, and developing system infrastructure.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and math skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive thinker and problem solver.
- Strong follow-through and organizational skills.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
