We are seeking a driven and analyticalBusiness Analyst to support strategic operations. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a data-informed and performance-driven culture by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting a wide range of metrics related to small business participation, subcontracting achievements, outreach effectiveness, and program impact. Your work will inform senior leadership decisions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with small business reporting mandates under the Small Business Act. This role requires a deep understanding of federal data systems and an ability to transform data into actionable insights through visuals, dashboards, and concise reports.

General Duties:
- Data Analysis: Analyze subcontracting achievements, socioeconomic participation, and vendor performance to inform leadership decisions.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize KPIs for small business utilization and strategic engagement.
- Program Evaluation: Monitor internal communications (emails, reports, media) and synthesize insights into weekly situation reports.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and semiannual reports summarizing the office achievement data; ensure all submissions are 95% accurate and timely.
- Strategic Support: Support development of annual small business goals and strategic planning sessions by compiling data insights.
- Documentation: Maintain internal tracking systems to ensure programmatic data is archived and accessible for audits and progress reviews.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in business analytics, statistics, economics, or related field.
- Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in business analytics or strategic operations in a federal or consulting environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with government procurement systems (e.g., FPDS, SAM.gov).
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities using large datasets.
- Communication: Able to write clear summaries and visualize findings for executive-level briefings.
