Role: Business Analyst

Location: Wilmington, DE

Mode of Hire: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in financial services and hands-on experience in data transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving clarity and alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business units to gather and document requirements for data transformation projects.
• Analyze current-state business processes and data flows; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Define future-state processes and support the development of transformation roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for data engineering and analytics teams.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Support testing, validation, and change management activities.
  
  

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services (banking, insurance, asset management, etc.).
• Strong understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements, and operational workflows.
• Experience in data transformation, migration, or modernization projects.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, SQL).
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
