RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for one of our large clients local to the Atlanta area. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and data/analytics, supporting a fast-moving team that is implementing new reporting and analytics capabilities. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, creating BA artifacts, ensuring traceability, and driving program implementation - while also bringing domain knowledge in reporting and data to add credibility with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and trace requirements using BA best practices (user stories, BRDs, process flows, traceability matrices, etc.)
• Support program implementation from requirements, design, testing, delivery, ensuring business objectives are met
• Partner with data engineers, BI developers, and analytics teams to define metrics, reporting needs, and data requirements
• Bring reporting and analytics expertise to conversations - understanding how metrics are defined, how reporting layers (integration/semantic layers) are built, and how dashboards translate into executive insights
• Create clear, compelling presentations and deliverables for executive stakeholders, translating technical details into business value
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in reporting workflows and requirements practices
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in a data/analytics-focused environment
• Experience with program implementation, traceability, and BA artifacts
• Strong reporting/BI knowledge (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar)
• Proven ability to engage in technical discussions while keeping the business outcome in focus
• Excellent executive communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
