Business Analyst required to support software development IT Projects.

ON SITE REQUIRED: 2 days in the week. Parking is NOT provided for contractors.

Both Web CAM (Virtual) and IN-PERSON interviews are required

• Strong Communication Skills: A Business Analyst needs to communicate with nearly everyone and consider everybody’s needs and concerns. They should ensure a shared understanding of the product vision and requirements.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Must learn to self-reflect and contribute effectively to the team. Able to adapt to changing requirements through detailed analysis.
• Knowledge of Tools and Techniques: Conduct collaboration, make estimates, and reports. Familiarity with various tools and techniques is crucial.
• Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate meetings for requirement gathering.
• Technical Knowledge: Not mandatory, but beneficial when working with development teams.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform tasks related to business analysis, determine problems, elicit requirements, and manage stakeholders to meet objectives. Facilitate the implementation of the product or project results.
• Act as the link between the Business Owner and the technical IT team.
• Define project scope and conduct risk analysis.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer between stakeholders and the development team.
• Track metrics like user adoption and engagement for improvements.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and validation meetings.
• Break down requirements into MVP.
• Help the development team understand the bigger picture.
• Translate business requirements into process flows and functional specs.
• Create deliverables such as Business Requirement Documents, Diagrams, Business Cases, Test Cases, Training Materials, and RFPs.
• Evaluate and test solutions for compliance with requirements.

Required / Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in Business Analysis (use cases)
• 4+ years in Business Process Flow documentation
• 5+ years knowledge of tools and techniques for Business Analysis
• 5+ years experience with Waterfall methodology
• 4+ years facilitation skills
• CBAP certification highly desired (3+ years)
• Technical knowledge (3+ years) highly desired
• Strong communication skills (5+ years required)
• Product Management experience (3+ years) is a plus
