Enterprise Information Management (EIM) is part of IT Business Solutions. EIM drives end-to-end delivery and maintenance of data solutions, including Analytics data platforms, MDM, Data Quality, Metadata management, Data governance tools, and upcoming solutions for supporting Data Landscape growing needs. Our Data practices include Requirement Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Engineering, Enterprise Reporting, and Testing. We ensure data integrity for business operations and decision-making. We build and support the services we offer. EIM partners with our BIA team in business to drive Data strategy, govern data assets, and create business value from our data assets. EIM collaborates with other IT teams to build technology roadmaps, reference architecture, and data capabilities. Our charter is to build solutions that deliver business value, are scalable, sustainable, and promote standardization to achieve economies of scale.

GSI (Global Specialty Insurance) data teams are on a modernization journey. EIM is laying out transformation plans for our teams and data landscape. We are looking for strong leaders to guide this journey through their business and technical acumen.

The position provides support to AMIG EIM’s Data Analyst teams. You will perform as an analyst, gathering business requirements, functional requirements, and data mapping across various projects and/or production support. You will also ensure all required requirements artifacts are completed.

Business Analyst Responsibilities include:

  • Work with analysts, technical leads, system testing, and IT managers to produce project estimates for IT efforts
  • Conduct requirement gathering and gap analysis for IT projects and maintenance initiatives
  • Create business requirements, functional requirements, and data mapping documents for projects/support
  • Track, manage, and report issues and scope changes on small maintenance efforts
  • Identify and operationalize process improvement opportunities
  • Create and maintain documentation for software changes for long-term support
  • Follow established project methodologies – Mressentials

Basic Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of analysis experience in Data Warehouse projects
  • Financial or Insurance background; property and causality preferred
  • Understanding of financial reporting, such as general ledger
  • Strong SQL query and analytical functions skills
  • Experience with DataHub, InfoCenter preferred
  • Experience in Business Intelligence report requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of business requirements, functional requirements, and data mapping
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Project tracking and reporting skills
  • Experience with task management tools like Azure DevOps (VSTS) or similar
  • Strong communication skills
