Overview

CGI is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst who is passionate about solving challenging client problems. As a CGI Business Analyst, you will support project management and business process optimization efforts. You will work closely with the client and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will join the International Affairs (IAF) group to support the mission of U.S. security, economic well-being, and worldwide relations. This position is located in El Paso, TX with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes
  • Support the development and implementation of process optimization strategies
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to facilitate project discussions and decision-making
  • Provide administrative support to project teams as needed
  • Lead client meetings to provide relevant project updates
  • Document meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on action items
  • Organize and maintain project documentation for easy access and reference
  • Assist in agile project management activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment as part of an agile/client-facing team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Desired qualifications

  • Proficient with Camtasia video software, Adobe Captivate or equivalent
  • Proficient with process mapping software such as Microsoft Visio
  • Experience in government functions such as federal acquisition or financial management

CGI is legally required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The current range for the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
