Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rancho Cordova, California. This role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting business applications while collaborating with stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of business functions and technical problem-solving skills to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to identify and align technology solutions with strategic objectives.

Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for developers.

Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to guide system implementation decisions.

Apply knowledge of business processes to address challenges and identify improvement opportunities.

Provide functional support for complex business processes and applications.

Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, contributing as a dedicated team member.

Act as a liaison between the business community and IT teams, ensuring technical solutions meet user needs.

Analyze and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of business applications.

Develop innovative solutions to optimize business processes and improve system functionality.

Maintain clear communication with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.

0-2 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.

Basic understanding of programming languages and ability to interpret code.

Strong analytical skills to create business solutions that enhance competitive advantage.

Effective project management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to solve technical problems and understand complex systems and processes.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proven ability to research, analyze, and develop innovative solutions using multiple sources of information.
