Responsibilities

We are looking for passionate, driven candidates to helpsolve our client’scomplexproblems andguidethemtowards operational success. As a Business AnalystwithCenseo, youwon’t spendyour first fewyearsdoingtediousprojectwork. Instead, youwilljump rightintothe heart ofconsultingand play animportant role on your teamsfrom day one,owning your own section of work andeven driving projects forwardbased on the initiative and enthusiasmthat you bring.A typical day in the life of a Business Analyst is never quite thesame,butitisalways equally exciting and challenging.On any given day, youcouldbe performing critical analyses,helping shapefinal recommendationsforclients, creatingdeliverables, or presenting your work toCenseoleadership and senior clients. Some of your key responsibilities as a Business Analyst will include:

  • Supportingall aspects of client engagements from defining the strategy of a projecttopreparing final deliverables
  • Conductingquantitative and qualitative analysis of datatoidentify trends, find opportunities areas, anddevelopmeaningful insights
  • Developingin-depthknowledge of client issues, needs,andcontexts
  • Collaborating with teams (typically 3-7teammembers per project) to recommend realistic solutionsto their problemsand encourage innovative, bold thinking
  • Sharing insights,results, and recommendationsina comprehensiblemannerthrough bothwrittenpresentations/reportsand interactions with teams/clients

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required withastrong academic background
  • Superior creative problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • Ability to work effectively on projects with demanding deadlines in a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge
  • Abilityand desire totakeinitiativeand ownershipoverproject workand professionaldevelopment and growth
  • Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Interest in working with public sector clients

Location

The Location - Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and game nights.

Fine Print

  • The salary range for this role is $73,000 - $85,000
  • Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
  • This is an exempt, full-time position
  • This role is subject to a hybrid work schedule
  • Essential Physical Functions
    • Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
    • Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
