Triad Financial Services, Inc. is a leading provider of financial services and solutions, serving clients nationwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our growing team. The Business Analyst position will ensure Information Technology (IT) products and services are delivered in a manner that meets expectations and achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction and value possible. This position will be required to keep abreast of recent technologies and industry trends and incorporate these when appropriate.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive awareness and documentation of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.
  • Assist as a thought leader for technical business processes, helping develop systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
  • Assist the Service Delivery manager with the implementation of management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Provide ongoing application support for various business technologies, with the ability to determine priority levels and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
  • Author and update internal and external documentation and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
  • Generate process documents and reports for modeling, technical references, business usage, and other purposes as needed.
  • Work with vendors as needed to manage solutions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate changes.
  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
  • Provide project and technical support in the development, analysis and maintenance of systems, software, processes, products, or equipment.
  • Work with other analysts to ensure collaboration and best practices while taking direction from management on work assignments.
  • Create and execute test strategies of products that verify enhancements meet business requirements and user expectations.
  • Identify and effectively communicate quality issues, risks and mitigation strategies so the appropriate measures are enacted.
  • Collaborate with Software Development and Project Management team members to verify products and retain a high-quality standard among our users.
  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrating respect for others
  • Manage UAT.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences or computer engineering; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in technology development environment, and at least two years using software delivery management tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.
  • Proven analytical abilities and demonstrated proficiency working with large data sets.
  • Experience generating process documentation and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • High proficiency in technical writing.
  • Some experience with project management programs, SCRUM, and different variants of AGILE techniques are also expected, along with familiarity with code management and Continuous Integration/Delivery Implementation (CI/DI).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse people, effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Hands on experience with Jira and the ability to construct and execute SQL queries to vet and review basic CRUD operations performed within an application.

Compensation: $69,000+/annually
