Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to support critical business operations through analysis, reporting, and process improvement. You will work closely with senior analysts and IT teams to provide actionable insights and ensure smooth transactional workflows.

Responsibilities:

Enter and manage trade data within organizational applications, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of end-of-day reports.

Monitor daily risk measures, including Value at Risk, and verify positions to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Reconcile broker and external statements related to transactions, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.

Prepare and deliver daily profit and loss statements and pricing information for management review.

Manage electronic fund sources and oversee clearing transactions to ensure seamless operations.

Collaborate with IT teams to support the development and execution of the trade capture platform.

Create ad-hoc reports using Power BI and Excel, automating processes with macros when necessary.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support special projects and decision-making processes.

Design and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in reporting and analysis.

Lead the development of validation plans and ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and macros.

Familiarity with Power BI for report development and data visualization.

Strong understanding of risk measures, pricing, and trade reconciliation processes.

Experience with SQL and automation tools to enhance reporting capabilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams and other stakeholders.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in quantitative and qualitative research.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Prior experience in business analysis or a related role is a plus.
