Business Reporting & Tools team is chartered to provide centralized business reporting and tools solutions in direct support of the group finance FP&A teams. The Business Reporting team is a world-class organization that aims to drive value in business finance by providing a portfolio of common business reporting solutions and tools.
Role Overview
The Business Liaison/Project Management Consultant is key to understanding and delivering on the business financial reporting needs of our business partners. The role involves partnering closely with group FP&A and IT to manage the evolution of the standardized reporting portfolio, as well as establishing requirements, development, and deployment of business finance tools to improve efficiency.
The consultant is responsible for understanding business financial reporting needs, collaborating with management to develop strategies, and leading the execution of these strategies. Core responsibilities include evolving the standard reporting portfolio, developing converged financial tools, reports, and delivery mechanisms. This position requires an experienced finance professional with strong knowledge of finance/ERP applications and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with FP&A teams and other business partners to establish priorities and deliver strategies that enhance finance efficiency through reports and tools, demonstrating deep understanding of finance systems and processes.
- Lead major reporting and tools initiatives supporting finance priorities and coordinate smaller projects.
- Collaborate with Business FP&A and IT to develop and deploy technology solutions that increase efficiency.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reporting and technology solutions within scope.
- Support organizational capability building within the Business reporting team through leadership and knowledge-sharing.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, with 7+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting, including project leadership across complex departments. Experience with financial system infrastructure is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate:
