Operate with latitude in performing complex duties related to delivery operations, contract performance, administrative and logistical tracking, compliance/operational discipline, and staffing for our Homeland Justice & Commerce portfolio of work. Provide value-added input in developing new concepts, techniques, and standards. Support Portfolio Operations and Project Management Offices responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assume a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to achieve the portfolio's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of contract, finance, operations, human resources, and delivery team members to identify, solve, implement, and supervise the improvement of business processes, procedures, and methods.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative matters related to budget, technology, space, and procurement, among others.
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications staff for events, messaging, and implementation of internal and external communication initiatives.
  • Develop, track, and assess key performance measures across the business unit. Develop management reports. Provide relevant data for portfolio monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources in planning and managing the staffing needs of the unit.
  • Support company-wide, executive level, and external communication and presentation requests.
  • May perform highly complex projects or participate as a team member on projects at the highest level of complexity.
Qualifications
  • Self-starter with attention to detail, discretion, ability to anticipate needs, and ability to deal effectively at all levels.
  • Strong communications, writing and organizational skills, plus good judgment, the ability to act with a sense of urgency and comfort with ambiguity.
  • High degree of respect for confidentiality.
  • Strong process facilitation, process management, and improvement skills.
  • Mindset of continuous improvement, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to interact directly with managers and senior managers requiring a comfortable level of presentation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience supporting project deadlines and supporting multiple teams.
  • Experience measuring and reporting performance with specific metrics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel, and Slack.
  • Experience in security clearance management and administration.
  • An appetite to learn and support a fast-growing organization.
