CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support a large federal agency. This full-time role involves partnering with internal and external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and define functional requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing documentation such as briefings, agendas, training materials, and demonstration sessions.
- Analyzing business and functional requirements and translating them into process maps and system specifications.
- Creating comprehensive documentation, including system diagrams, concepts of operations, and status reports.
- Preparing high-level briefings and communication materials for various stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the government and team members to improve service delivery and implement new technologies.
- Evaluating program materials and proposing improvements.
- Gathering information from subject matter experts to develop manuals, specifications, and process documents.
- Developing expertise in Microsoft and Atlassian products to create accessible content.
- Researching, outlining, writing, and editing content in collaboration with team members.
- Developing multimedia content for maximum usability with a consistent voice.
- Managing risks and communicating issues effectively.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and managing client expectations.
- Identifying cross-team dependencies and fostering collaboration.
- Enhancing customer satisfaction and building long-term client relationships.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Successful completion of a Background Investigation and security clearance
- 7+ years of experience in business or systems analysis
- Experience with Agile and phase-based delivery methods, Jira, and other Agile tools
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with government projects and policies
- Experience interacting with senior leadership and government staff
- Management experience with client requirements and small teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DHS HQ or other federal agencies
- Project tracking and reporting skills
- Knowledge of federal acquisition lifecycle, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics
- Certifications such as PMP, ACP, CSM, SAFe, or CISM
