Introduction
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Irving, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both business and technical environments—gathering requirements, driving solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in SDLC environments
Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including writing/refining user stories and backlog management
Proficient in SQL, including writing queries for data validation and analysis. Experience working on data heavy projects
Experience using ADO (Azure DevOps) or similar tools for tracking work and metrics
Proven ability to work directly with developers, QA testers, and business users
Skilled in business process mapping using Visio or similar tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in UAT testing and solution validation
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience creating ADO dashboards to monitor KPIs and project progress
Strong problem-solving skills including root cause analysis
Calm under pressure and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Experience mentoring junior analysts and sharing best practices
Prior experience supporting data-driven projects and understanding of data flow across systems
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Collaborate with business users, product managers, and developers to gather and document business and functional requirements
Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
Conduct system analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis
Use SQL to perform data validation and ensure business rule accuracy
Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, refinement sessions, and sprint reviews
Assist QA and UAT testers by clarifying requirements and resolving issues
Support go-live activities and validate production implementations
Create process flows and documentation using Visio
Troubleshoot production issues and communicate resolutions
Mentor junior analysts and help implement process improvements
