The Dental Center of Mishawaka is looking for a Dental Assistant in Mishawaka, Indiana to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview
As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Schedule
Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Compensation for this role is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
- Will consider a recent grad from a formal dental school program
- X-Ray certification is required
- EFDA is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
