  • $28-$33 per hour base
  • Up to $2,000 monthly bonuses, averaging roughly $12 per hour

The dental assistant (surgical assistant) at Nuvia plays a crucial role in assisting surgeons and restorative dentists to provide safe, memorable, and high-quality care. Responsibilities include assisting in setup, surgery, taking impressions, pouring molds, X-rays, ordering supplies, and patient interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Taking patient photos, X-rays, and Cone Beams
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Setting up and cleaning operation rooms
  • Ordering supplies
  • Adjusting and relining prostheses
  • Assisting during surgical procedures
  • Providing pre and post-op instructions
  • Sterilization and daily cleaning
  • Managing patient expectations and delivering excellent care

Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Assistant with proper certifications
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Patient-centric with good communication skills
  • Outgoing, empathetic, flexible, quick learner
  • Great organizational skills and office aptitude

A Day In The Life

Surgery prep, morning huddle, meeting lab deadlines, overcoming obstacles, performing circular tasks, and end-of-day reports and preparations.
