At Lakeisde Dental, we are seeking a Dental Assistant to collaborate with our team to improve our patient's dental health and smiles in our State-Of-The-Art practice in North Barrington, IL.Â

• Tuesday 7:20am - 5:00pm
• Wednesday 7:20am - 5:00pm
• Thursday 7:20am -5:00pm
• Friday Off

Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
• Digital Scanning experience highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), preferred but not required.
