This is a full time positions and incudes alternating Sundays.

- Prepares exam rooms for planned procedure
- Stocks, prepares and maintains dental instruments, equipment and supplies.
- Prepares dental materials, composites, amalgams, cements, impression materials, etc. as needed and instructed by dentist
- Maintains a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures
- Reviews the health history, makes chart entries per protocol and assures completion of forms and signatures as appropriate
- Reviews the pre-op informed consent form and post-op instructions as appropriate with the patient prior to surgical procedure
- Greets and identifies patient and escorts to the operatory
- Properly drapes the patient while in the chair and familiarizes the patient with the aspects of their dental visit
- Takes the appropriate radiographs that are of usable quality under the dentist’s instruction
- Makes patient feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist

- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- BLS certified
- Minimum one year customer service experience preferred
- NYS Dental assistant certification preferred but not required
