Full-time dental assistant opening in a thriving dental practice!

Safari Dental and Orthodontics is a fast-paced and exciting dental practice seeking a dynamic personality to help us serve our patients in an extraordinary way! We provide pediatric, general, and orthodontic services. We have an immediate opening for a full-time dental assistant.

The dental assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing outstanding customer service with the patient as the #1 priority; partnering with staff, timely and successfully resolving patient complaints, concerns, and questions
• Assisting the dentist chairside in the process of treating patients
• Taking and developing radiographs
• Recording patients’ medical history; taking blood pressure and pulse
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Providing patients with instructions for oral care following appointments and procedures
• Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to improve or maintain oral health
• Performing operatory setup and breakdown
• Sterilizing instruments

Key Qualifications For The Ideal Candidate

• Fits our dynamic culture and values
• Has a minimum of 2 years experience as a dental assistant
• Certifications required: RDA
• A self-starter with a positive outlook, plus a solution-oriented and proactive approach
• A strong service mentality, supporting the needs of patients, and paying attention to detail
• Team-oriented
