As part of our commitment to safety, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental roles, arranged during pre-employment, except in FL & TN.
More about the role:
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring comfort and providing education throughout treatment
- Review patient health history for quality care
- Take and process x-rays and assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures in accordance with state law
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and records
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols
- Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed
- Partner with team to implement systems and optimize workflow
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Oklahoma Dental Assistant Permit
- Oklahoma X-Ray Certification
- Ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards as per HIPAA
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Experience:
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
