Compensation
$24 - $27
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental equipment, instruments, anesthetics, supplies, and materials for examinations and procedures.
- Ensure infection control policies are followed by disinfecting and sterilizing equipment after use.
- Measure and document vital signs and update patient medical histories.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures by handing instruments, providing suction, and maintaining chair-side accessibility.
- Answer patient questions about dental hygiene, schedule follow-up appointments, and provide postoperative instructions, including infection control methods.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or RDA license from DANB.
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered or certified dental assistant.
- Proficiency with dental software and updating patient records.
- Associate’s Degree or certification from an accredited college or technical program.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
