Spectrum Healthcare Resources is hiring: Dental Assistant in Los Angeles

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our team at the Bakersfield CBOC.

Requirements:

• A current unrestricted license by the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries (COMDA) for the State of California
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistant
• A Dental Radiological Certificate
• A current BLS and/or CPR card
• A valid TB test

Responsibilities:

• Perform chairside assistant duties in all phases of dentistry, including prosthodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and endodontics.
• Receive and record patient information, utilize dental programs, and provide patient education related to their care. Provide post-op instructions after surgical procedures.
• Instruct, assist, and answer questions for dental trainees in the Dental Clinic.

Working Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm and 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Enjoy 11 Federal Holidays off
