More about the role
- Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, ensure patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
- Review patient health history to provide quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act.
- Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
- Manage supply and inventory levels, place and expedite orders as needed.
- Partner with providers and team to implement systems and maximize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification if required by state law.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards, with required HIPAA training.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years in a dental setting.
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
- Dental assisting school certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Prolonged sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions.
- TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
