The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of dental practice experience in an assisting role, holds a current RDA license, and possesses excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Compensation: $57,500 - $62,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans to ensure they feel comfortable during appointments
• Ensure infection control policies and safety regulations are followed by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
• Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures by providing suction, handing instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary sterilized equipment, instruments, anesthetics, supplies, and materials
• Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history, take x-rays, and apply topical anesthetic as needed
• Document patient care in records while maintaining confidentiality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following infection control policies
• Manage dental equipment and supplies inventory
• Assist the team as needed and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active BLS / CPR certification required
• Current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
• 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered or certified dental assistant
• Certification or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or technical school program
• Experience with dental software and updating patient records
• X-ray Certification and Coronal Polishing certification required
• Experience with Eaglesoft preferred; other software knowledge is a plus
• Ability to use sound judgment, maintain a calm disposition, and work well with people
