We are seeking a Dental Assistant/Patient Coordinator who shares our passion for patient care, education, and creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists, including charting, patient education, operatory set-up, and clean-up.
  2. Deliver a superior patient experience during all appointment phases.
  3. Take and process X-Rays.
  4. Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
  5. Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
  6. Confirm patient appointments and update schedules.
  7. Collect and post payments from patients and insurance companies.
  8. Answer patient questions about insurance and financial arrangements.
  9. Gather patient information, create files, and verify insurance eligibility.

Qualifications

  1. Completion of a dental assisting program and certification as required by the State Dental Board.
  2. Radiology certification to comply with the State Dental Board.
  3. Dental assisting experience preferred.
  4. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  5. Knowledge of dental insurance and benefits explanation preferred.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred.
  7. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
