Overview

Springfield Dentistry 4 Kids is offering a full-time opportunity as a Dental Assistant at our Missouri office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification required; X-ray certification preferred
• Dental Assistant certification required
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
• Bonus pay: Up to $500 additional per month
